We are exited to present you an innovative and impactful project that provides you with reliable information on the actual efficiency of photovoltaic systems. ShadeOSP is based on the EFFPVShade research project, which delves into the efficiency analysis of decentralized photovoltaic power electronics, specifically focusing on their performance under partial shading.
With ShadeOSP you are able to see annual results of different PV-systems and their simulations. Simulations have already been carried out for you and the corresponding results have been stored. Within ShadeOSP these PV-systems and their simulations are called "shading cases". You can switch between these shading cases to understand the results and how they relate to shading scenarios.
On the left hand side of ShadeOSP the different cases are listed. By clicking on the desired case, its composition is loaded in the 3D view. In addition, a result area is displayed, in which the most important annual results of the system can be seen. If you want to analyse a system in more detail, you can switch to expert mode (switch at top right corner). Simulations are performed in three different variants of the underlying systems and their results are presented separately.
